Park making progress

Up, down and out with Romulo, Greg and Jorge
Game 28: You again

Facing injuries and ineffective relievers, the Yanks today have scrambled to restructure their pitching staff, and as the hullabaloo over the roster moves died down, some good news emerged from Tampa. According to Marc Carig, Chan Ho Park has thrown 45 pitches from the mound, and although the Yanks haven’t yet put a timetable on his return, this side session is, as Carig says, a big step forward for a key piece of the Yankee bullpen. When Park comes park, the late innings will feel decidedly less stressful than they have lately. I would guess that, barring a setback, he should return within a week or two.
