To me the Yankees are already a Better team than last
Year if healthy of course. Adding tanaka or graze
Would make them contenders right or wrong?

    • Dan says:

I agree. I think they’re about 87-88 wins right now. Which would be short of the playoffs. But if they had a couple of guys they should get there.

  2. Nichter says:

3rd base = Chavez and Reynolds
2nd Base = Ellis or Roberts

    Can it happen?
    I say yes.

    • nycsportzfan says:

Im thinking more and more Cashman has Mark Ellis in the back of his mind as he looks for a 2nd basemen. He knows he can swoop in and grab Mark Ellis, as long as hes not signed before. I think Mark Ellis is gonna end up getting the job.

Anyone know if Brewers are shopping Rickie Weeks?

  3. Dale Mohorcic says:

    Zelous Wheeler and Yamaico Nacarro?

You just made those names up.

  4. nycsportzfan says:

12yr 360million for a baseball player.lol That just sounds stupid. How can we as a country let it get to where Mike Axisa can say with a straight face(maybe he didn’t?) that a 12yr 360million dollar deal for any baseball player isn’t a insane request.lol

Mike Trout one freaking player. Nothing hes done has even helped the angels do anything. Not to mention , thats with Albert Pujols, another 300million dollar player on board.lol Ya, keep shelling out 300million dollar contracts, maybe if you have 3 of em on the same team, you can make a postseason? Then again, it might take 4or5..lol

  5. nycsportzfan says:

Why is it, that just because some team makes a idiotic deal and overpays way to much that a GM can’t say that to the player trying for a new contract? Like if Cano was using Pujols contract(just example) in negotiations, why coulden’t a GM be like “uhh, that deal looks terrible.”??
