DotF: A loss at every level

By

3B Eric Jagielo (ribcage) has been placed on the High-A DL, according to Nicholas Flammia. He was visited by the trainer in the middle of an at-bat on Tuesday, hit a homer on the very next pitch, then was taken out of the game as a precaution. It’s said to only be a minor issue and he should be back soon. Oh, and in case you missed it earlier, LHP Manny Banuelos (fatigue) will start in five days after playing catch today.

  • The Other Matt

Man, Fred Lewis has really struggled down in the minors after having a pretty good spring.

  • Bo Knows

Dude, Sanchez has been hot garbage for the last month; really hope he gets out this slump, cause it’s been brutal

  • NeilT

With Jagielo on the DL, now would be a good time to promote Judge?

    • Brian in MA

Why? Jagielo will only be out for a very short time, and MiLB has a 7 day DL that may be used, if they DL him at all.

    • pounder

      Here come da Judge….. sorry.

  • hornblower

Garcia and Wheeler deserve a shot with the big club. Watching Roberts, Johnson, Sori, Ichiro and can I say it Jeter is giving me a headache. Too bad money dictates. Maybe these older minor league guys have some Solarte in them.

  • LW23

Welcome back, DBJ. Still too early to get hopeful?

  • nycsportzfan

Tyler Austin and Mason Williams starting to put it together. Thats huge.
