Tuesday Night Open Thread

Forgot to mention this last week: the late Yogi Berra will be honored with the President Medal of Freedom, the White House announced. Apparently the ceremony was today. The Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian honor and recognizes “especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” Beyond his baseball career, Yogi served in World War II, established a scholarship at Columbia, and was involved with a learning center in New Jersey that provided educational programs to 29,000 students annually. Willie Mays will also receive the Medal of Freedom. That’s quite an honor.

Anyway, here is tonight’s open thread. None of the local hockey or basketball teams are in action, so if you’re jonesin’ for some sports, you have to settle for college basketball. You folks know how these open threads work by now, so have at it.
