Apple is having a major iPhone event right now… so CoverItLive is probably straining under the weight of that.
In 2006 Kenny Rogers won the crucial Game 3; he was practically unhittable. Later, it was announced that he was caught doctoring the ball making the whole series a travesty, at least in my eyes. It is hard to believe that the Tiger management did not know about it. I wonder if there is something similar going on – once a cheater, always a cheater.
One was a total gutless choke artist and the other was a guy with perhaps the best stuff in the history of the game. Totally different story. Funny how Rogers sucked in the WS when he wasn’t BLATANTLY cheating. Joe Torre not going ape shit over that and not stopping the Midge game were two huge errors.
