- Luis Severino, CC Sabathia, and Tommy Kahnle threw live batting practice while Sonny Gray threw a simulated game. Here’s some video Severino and Sabathia facing Drury. - Aaron Judge was not scheduled to take batting practice today, though he did stand in the box to track pitches. His shoulder is fine and he’s on track to play in games next week. “He’s doing well and right on schedule to be ready to go in a game next week,” said Aaron Boone. [Jack Curry]
- Chad Green is scheduled to make his first start on Tuesday. As for tomorrow’s spring opener, Luis Cessa is starting and Ben Heller will be among those to come out of the bullpen. Tomorrow’s game will be televised. [Billy Witz]
- And finally, Seahawks quarterback/Yankees farmhand Russell Wilson will arrive in camp Monday, according to the man himself. He’ll be in camp for six days but will not play in a game. Wilson will work out with the team and mingle with players. That’s all. [Hoch, Jerry Crasnick]
