Two years ago today on DotF, Matt Carson went 4 for 4 with two doubles and a homer, and Jason Jones allowed just two baserunners against eight strikeouts in seven shutout innings as Double-A Trenton downed New Britain.
RAB correspondent Andy In Sunny Daytona sent along some more photos from last night’s High-A Tampa game: Jesus Montero on deck, Montero catching, Jeremy Bleich winding up, Bleich delivering a pitch, Austin Krum on deck, and Eric Fryer batting. Andy also spoke to Dellin Betances while he video taped the game, and he said he’d heard of RAB, which is super cool. Alas, he wouldn’t give in to Andy’s advances, despite several attempts to by him beer.
Make sure you scroll down for tonight’s game thread.
